Bacchus Press is a California based Corporation that originated in Berkeley in 1980. For the past twenty-nine years Bacchus Press has proudly served the graphics and printing needs of local, state and national corporations, educational institutions, the graphic design community, as well as non profit organizations both local and nationwide.
Bacchus Press is committed to the highest standards of sustainability in the Print Industry and has reformatted the technology and methods utilized in order to become a “Green” printer in every sense of the word. Through certification from the Forest Stewardship Council, all paper sourced by Bacchus Press can be guaranteed as the most eco-friendly available and likewise certification by the Bay Area Green Business Council displays Bacchus Press as a Bay Area Green Business.
On top of all this Bacchus made sure to offset their carbon emissions by joining the Carbon Fund Partnership, which purchases credits of wind, water and solar power on behalf of the press to nullify any detrimental emissions. On a day-to-day basis, Bacchus Press uses recycled papers (mostly 100% and with high levels of Post Consumer Waste) as well as Soy and Vegetable based inks.
